Cookies

This page explains what cookies are, which of them we use on www.chciodskodneni.cz, why we use them, and how you can change or withdraw your consent at any time. For information on how we process personal data in general, please see our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

A cookie is a short text file that a website sends to your browser, which then sends it back on your next visit. Cookies allow a website to remember, for example, the language you have chosen or the choice you made about consent. Cookies alone cannot identify you and they cannot run a program or transmit a virus.

Necessary cookies

These files are required for the website to work as you would expect. Under Section 89 (3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications, your consent is not required for them and they therefore cannot be refused. We inform you about them so that you have a full picture.

  • pll_language – remembers the language you selected on the website so that you do not have to select it again;
  • CookieScriptConsent – stores a record of the choice you made in the cookie banner so that you are not asked again on every visit.

If you log in to the website’s administration, WordPress additionally sets technical cookies required for login. These do not concern ordinary visitors.

Statistics cookies

These help us find out which pages are useful and where visitors get lost, so that we can improve the website. To measure traffic we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, which acts as a processor on our behalf. We evaluate the data in aggregate form, not for the purpose of identifying individual visitors.

  • _ga and _ga_<ID> – distinguish individual visitors and visits so that traffic and on-site behaviour can be measured.

We will set these cookies only if you give us your consent in the cookie banner. Until you give consent, no statistics cookies are stored. Google Analytics then loads in a limited mode in which it sends only anonymous data without any identifiers – it cannot recognise you or track you between visits, and Google uses that data only to estimate aggregate statistics. You may withdraw your consent at any time, see below.

Marketing cookies

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies on this website and we do not deploy advertising pixels. Should this change, we would obtain your prior consent for them and update this page.

You can change your choice at any time in the cookie banner, which you can open using the cookie settings icon at the bottom of the website. Consent can be withdrawn as easily as it was given, and withdrawal does not affect processing carried out previously.

You can also manage cookies directly in your browser – block them, delete those already stored, or have your browser notify you before a cookie is stored. The procedure differs between browsers and can be found in your browser’s help. Please note that blocking necessary cookies may limit the functionality of the website, for example remembering your language.

How long cookies are stored

The storage period differs between individual cookies – from the end of the browser session to several months. We keep the record of your consent for 30 days, after which the cookie banner will ask you again. The exact storage period of each individual cookie can be found in the overview below.

Full list of cookies

The overview below is generated automatically and lists every cookie this website actually sets, including its purpose, provider and storage period. It updates itself, so it is always current.
